Girls On The Move & Boys Movin’ On Up

Girls On The Move and Boys Movin’ On Up are weekly after-school programs that provide opportunities for fun physical activity to youth ages 9 to 14. With a focus on play, these programs support young people in improving their physical fitness, building their self-confidence, and developing healthy relationships.

Who: anyone ages 9 to 14.

What: Youth participate in a variety of activities ranging from swimming to bowling, and from basketball to Laser Quest.

Where: Groups meet at Thomson Community School (Toronto Street at Victoria Avenue) and are transported by program facilitators to activity locations as needed.

When: Tuesday evenings, 6:30 to 8:30 pm, Sept. 27 – Dec. 13 2016

Why: To increase the physical fitness, self-confidence, and relationship skills. To provide a safe opportunity for fun physical activities to youth in the Heritage community.

How: Pre-registration is required. To register please call (306) 757-9952 or email heritage.director@sasktel.net. The cost of program is an HCA Membership ($5 for residents of the Heritage neighbourhood, $20 for non-residents).
