Let’s Move is seeking SNACK SUPPORT! We are looking for donations to help provide our participants with healthy, nutritious food for our after school program participants.
There are two ways to help! Monetary and food donations are both excellent ways to contribute to our participants’ and program needs. We provide snacks to about 50 people every outing, including kids and facilitators. Some favourites have been carrot muffins, zucchini bread, peanut butter and apple pitas, grapes, and veggies and ranch! Options should be kid-friendly, and healthy (sorry no Halloween candy or chips).

Let’s Move is a weekly after-school program that provides opportunities for fun physical activity to youth ages 9 to 14. With a focus on play, this program supports young people in improving their physical fitness, building their self-confidence, and developing healthy relationships.
Who: anyone ages 9 to 14
What: Youth participate in a variety of activities ranging from swimming to bowling, and from basketball to laser tag.
Where: Groups meet at Thomson Community School (Toronto Street at Victoria Avenue) and are transported by program facilitators to activity locations as needed.
When: Tuesday evenings, 6:30 to 8:30 pm, Oct. 8 2019 to May 26 2020 (except school holidays)
Why: To increase physical fitness, self-confidence, and relationship skills. To provide a safe opportunity for fun physical activities to youth in the Heritage community.
