Our Artists in Residence partnered with Buddhist teacher and social activist Michael Stone in order to bring a very special event to the Heritage neighbourhood! We are pleased to present SIT UP Heritage, a day-long urban retreat of mindfulness and exploration of the community.

This is an once in a lifetime opportunity to leave your comfort zone, open your mind, let go of your preconceptions about the city, see our prejudices and boundaries directly, and recognize our common humanness. It is a way to experience our interconnection and realize our responsibilities.

How much does it cost?

The cost is $125.00 + GST.

Lunch is included for all participants with their fee, thanks to the generous support of Phoenix Residential Society!

What if cost is a barrier to participation?

We want everyone who is interested to be able to participate! This is a unique event in our community and shouldn’t be missed.

Dream Agreement has created the Invite a Neighbour Program. This allows for participants to donate extra to help cover the costs of those who may not be able to afford it themselves. Please contact them directly to inquire about the program.
